CD-ROM drive not recognized NT 4.0 SP 5 or higher 
If you come across this problem running NT 4.0 try this workaround:

1) Go into Windows Explorer | My Computer | Audio CD | Properties | Sharing   

2) On the Sharing Tab move the check from "Not Shared" to "Shared as".  

3) Click on "Apply"

AS32 now should be able to recognize your CD-ROM Drive.
