S/PDIF & TOSLink 
S/PDIF is a data protocol for transmitting up to 4 normal audio channels, 
MPEG2, AC3 or DTS. TOSLink (developed by Toshiba) is just a way of specifying
the interface for transmitting S/PDIF data via fiber.
