Q: I already have an old sound system. How do I connect a networked digital
music player?
A: Connect your PC to a home network, such as Ethernet or HPNA. Load the PC
hard drive with some digital music files, either from the Internet or by
transferring CDs to the hard drive. Connect the networked digital music
player to your stereo receiver line inputs, just like you'd connect your
CD player, then connect it to the Ethernet or HPNA network. Once your
connections are made, you can play your music from the PC hard drive just
like you'd play music on a CD player.

Q: Why don't I just run a cable from my computer and hook it up to my
speakers? Isn't that the same?
A: Not really. With the PC in a different room, it's difficult to control the
music you're listening to. To change the song or pause the song, you'd have
to walk back to your PC room. By the time you get halfway back, you may
have changed your mind again. With AudioTron, you can access and control
the PC music from the listening location, just as you do with your other
stereo components.
