You should never have any issues setting it up, playing music etc. provided 
that you have a 'healthy' well configured Network. Only when you have some 
other network issue that you are unaware of, because most other systems, 
network components tolerate retries since they aren't real-time like the 
AudioTron is.

Switches, Routers, Hubs or NICs with negotiation problems and drop packets,
Firewalls, Security provisions, Antivirus software, Permissions and Access 
Rights from the OS etc. come at play and that's the "pathological" part.
