TurtleRadio - 3 Enabling local file access of TurtleRadio:
******************************************************************************
Since the TurtleRadio Server is no longer available, here are instructions to
setup TurtleRadio locally. Please note that the info below is offered as a
courtesy on an *AS IS* basis and it is not Supported.

Enabling local file access of TurtleRadio:
==========================================

1. Your unit must have 3.2.24 or 3.2.25 Firmware.
Earlier Firmware will not support this process.
    IMPORTANT WARNING! BEFORE YOU PROCEED:
Upgrading Firmware is a very risky procedure where a lot can go wrong.
We recommend that you do not proceed, as your unit may not function.
We hope that you will not have to find out the hard way that you are
better off having a unit that functions without TurtleRadio, than a
unit that does not function at all. Please remember that this product
is no longer serviceable. Also, if using a NAS Server, do not upgrade
Firmware as the NAS Support may not function. You have been warned!

2. Download a copy of the file: radio_tr.txt from:
    http://support.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/114.asp
    the direct FTP path is:
    ftp://ftp.voyetra.com/pub/tbs/audiotro/radio_tr.txt

3. Save this file to your local machine as a text file and remember where
    you put it.

4. Next, use a browser to navigate to your AudioTron:
    http://(your_atron_IP_address)/localtr.asp
    (e.g. http://192.168.xx.x/localtr.asp)

5. Check the box *Enabled* next to "Use a local file for Turtle radio list".

6. The password is "Godzilla"

7. Click on the *Save* button.

8. You will now need to put the location of your saved text file in the first
text box of the 'Configure Shares Manually' page on your AudioTron web
    browser.

    http://(your_atron_IP_address)/shares.asp

If you have a different share in there, you'll need to move it down to
one of the other ones to make room for the text file. Qualify the
complete location path, so it would be \\SHARE\FOLDER\radio_tr.txt

9. Click on the "Save Manual Search Settings" button.

10. Reboot your AT (From the rear switch.) During boot, you should see a
message that it's using a local TurtleRadio file.

BEST OF LUCK!

NOTE:
The text file "radio_tr.txt" will provide you with 333 TurtleRadio
Stations, which should be plenty to choose from. If you had customized
your stations, you should use your reliable back up of your own text
file with your preferred selections. You may also edit the text and
add your own favorites, but you realize that we cannot do this for you.
Please read below for more info.

You may also visit the following link compliments of an AudioTron aficionado:
    http://www.jon00.me.uk/TurtleRadioIntro.shtml

This then gives you access to an on-line TurtleRadio editor. Since it is not
easy to modify the XML style file, this makes the process much easier by
automatically sorting the listings and providing a compliant file to download.

The service is free and you can easily upload your existing file for
modification provided the server is on-line.

Advanced Users:
=============================
Note - if you're planning on manipulating the TurtleRadio source file by hand,
there are a couple of fields you'll have to change, particularly the length

the header fields:
