Remote Control
The Remote Control and Remote Control Base Station are Optional accessories
available at the Turtle Beach accessories Web page.

The Remote transmits commands to the Remote Control RF Base Station, which
then sends the commands through the PC's serial port and on to AudioStation.

The Remote Control and Base Station use an ultra high radio frequency (2.4GHz)
to transmit and receive commands. RF transmissions are able to travel through
walls and outdoors. The maximum range of transmission may vary depending on
ambient levels of interference from other RF devices (such as cellular phones
or other computers) or on the composition of obstacles such as walls, rooms,
etc.

The Remote Control Setup utility is accessible from the AudioStation Launch
Pad, which appears in the Windows System Tray (SysTray), next to the clock at
the far right of the Windows Taskbar. Before accessing the Remote Control
Setup utility you must enable the Remote Control in AudioStation by going to
Options>Preferences>My Favorites/Remote and selecting the box next to Enable
AudioStation Remote Control at the bottom of the screen.

To access the Remote Control Setup utility:

  - Right click on the Launch Pad on your systray. A popup menu will appear.
  - Click on Test Remote.
  - Follow the instructions on the screen.
  - If necessary, click on the Troubleshooting button at the bottom of the
screen. The Troubleshooting Wizard will appear.
  - Follow the suggestions outlined in the Troubleshooting Wizard.
