Playlists - using & managing
A Playlist is a preset collection of music files, like a 'greatest hits'
collection, a collection of music you make to fit a certain mood, or a
'dance mix' for a party.

In the Music Library tab, the left pane is labeled Library and contains a
Windows Explorer-styled directory "tree" of the Playlists available in
AudioStation.

Think of the Library as the 'master list' of your available Playlists.

  * All Tracks – Displays all tracks that have been incorporated into
AudioStation's database of media files, such as CD audio tracks,
MP3 WMA or WAVE files, MIDI files and AVI movies.

  * Albums – Contains all CD album Playlists that have been entered into
    AudioStation.

  * Artists – Sorts the Tracks in your Playlists by name of Artist.

  * Genres – Sorts the Tracks in your Playlists by Genre; whether one of the
more than 30 pre-defined genres such as Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Classical,
Heavy Metal or Spoken Word, or any Genre types you define.

  * Turtle Radio - Displays the radio stations you have selected.

  * User Playlists – Contains the custom Playlists you have defined in
    AudioStation.

The right pane in the Music Library tab (labeled Playlist) shows you the
Tracks contained in the currently selected Playlist.

To create a new custom Playlist, right-click on the User Playlist item in the
Library tree and select New Playlist, or click on the New Playlist button in
the Playlist window (right pane) in the Music Library tab.

To add tracks to a Playlist, Open the Music Library tab, select All Tracks in
the Library tree, then "drag and drop" tracks from the Playlist pane (on the
right) to a folder in the Library (the tree view on the left).

  * You can select a group of tracks by holding down the Control key and
left-clicking on the Tracks that you wish to select.

  * To select a group of contiguous Tracks in a Playlist, click on the first
Track that you wish to select. Then hold down the Shift key and click on
the last Track in the list that you wish to select. All Tracks between the
first and last Tracks in the list will be selected.

    OR

  * Open the Music Library Tab

  * Click on the track you would like to add to your playlist. Then click the
'Send To…" Button, select "Users Playlists", then the playlist you would
like to add the track to.
