Column sort limitations

  "When I CTRL or SHIFT select a group of files and then hit one of the 
   column headers to sort the selected files, all of the tracks get sorted.  
   How can I correct this?"

  Unfortunately, the column sort feature is unrelated to selection (the same
  applies in Windows Explorer).  In other words, clicking each column will
  sort ALL tracks, not only selected tracks.

  To put your files in a custom order, it is recommended that you create a
  playlist.
