Mix Paste - FAQ
Music plays slower / distorted - sample rate:
Q: I am trying to place background music behind a recorded voice. I have both
wav files open. I have copied the music to the clipboard. When I play the
clipboard, the music sounds correct. However, after I mix paste the files
together the music plays at a much slower, distorted speed. Any solution
    to this problem?

A: Both audio clips must be of the same sample rate (ex: 22,050 kHz,
44,100 kHz, etc.) The voice is probably at 22,050 and the audio is
    at 44,100 kHz.

Error: "Cannot mix unlike files..."
Q: We want to use your program to use the mix-paste feature in the sound
editing program. When trying use that feature with two .WAV files,
an error message came up saying that we can't mix unlike files. Can you
explain? We were using .WAV files. This feature is very important to us
since that's most of what we will use the program for.

A: If one is 44,100 and one is 22,050, you cannot mix paste them. The only
thing you could do is to convert the 44,100 to match the 22,050 (because
you cannot make the 22,050 into a 44,100).
