Error: "File is not a wave file or contains an error. Unable to open"
Q: I cannot save a file using a registered copy of audiosurgeon. I receive
the error "File is not a wave file or contains an error. Unable to open."

A: Most likely, the file you are attempting to open or save is corrupt or
just not a valid wave file. Please try a different file and see if the
    problem persists.

Do not trust files of "unknown quality" that you downloaded from the
    Internet.
