If your system runs out of the resources necessary to record audio to a
compressed audio file on your hard disk, dropouts may occur in the writing of
the file. These will be heard as 'clicks' and/or 'pops' in the final music
recording.
The easiest way to make sure this doesn't happen is to close all programs
other than AudioStation while you are recording from CDs. Also, anti-virus
programs or other 'background' processes while recording tracks from an audio
CD.
