If while ripping CDs to MP3s the software hangs at a certain point in the CD 
where it stops at 99% and stops responding, you may be trying to rip from an 
Enhanced CD (ECD). 

Enhanced CDs typically include information such as lyrics, pictures or video
clips that are not audio information. When AudioStation tries to rip this 
information to an mp3 file, it will appear to stop responding since it 
believes that there is an error in the file itself and is trying to find 
a way to correct it.
