Error: "AudioStation has caused an error in MUSICLIB.DLL"
If you receive this error, an error referring to a "corrupt database" or if
the program is hanging while trying to load Playlists, then the database may
have become corrupted. You will need to delete the database and then open
AudioStation and rescan your music from: Files / Search For Music Files.
* Open Windows Explorer and set it to Show All Hidden Files and Folders from
Tools > Folder Options > View.
WINDOWS 98/ME:
Go to C:\Windows\Application Data\Voyetra\AudioStation\database.
WINDOWS 2000/XP:
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application
Data\Voyetra\AudioStation\database.
* Delete the contents of the database folder (not the folder itself).
* Now rescan your music from: Files / Search For Music Files.
********************
IMPORTANT NOTES:
********************
* Please make sure that the AudioStation program is not running or it
will not allow you to delete the files.
* Deleting the library also deletes all the playlists you have created in
AudioStation 6. So after you delete the database folder, you'll just
need to import your created playlists by clicking on File > Import User
Playlist. Then you can browse to the appropriate directory to import your
playlist:
WINDOWS 98/ME:
C:\My Documents\My Music\Audiostation 6
WINDOWS 2000/XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\My Music\
Audiostation 6
