CD-ROM - No Sound
Q: For some reason my AudioStation 6 doesn't have any sound when playing a
cd. It looks like it's playing but there's no sound. AudioStation plays
mp3 fine so I know the audio is hooked up correctly. I have even tried
    reinstalling the software! Any advise?

A: Playing back audio CDs and playing back an MP3 file are two different
things. In order to playback and hear an audio CD, your CD-ROM drive must
be connected to the soundcard via a CD audio cable (inside your computer
case). If your CD-ROM drive doesn't have a CD audio cable, then you will
not be able to hear CDs playback in AudioStation. You may wish to
contact your computer manufacturer to check on this.

NOTE: This may not be necessary in Windows XP as the OS has the ability
to carry audio through the bus.
