MIDI - won't play sound out of keyboard
Q: Hello, My Santa Cruz sound card will not play out of the keyboard speakers
while playing out of MIDI Orchestrator Plus. It will play out of keyboard
while in recording station. The only thing that I can think of is I cannot
get the patch map to accept "santa cruz external midi" it will only stay
    in "santa cruz."

A: In MIDI Orchestrator Plus (MOP), click on Options>Midi Port Setup. Make
sure you have MIDI Output set to Santa Cruz External Midi. This will send
the MIDI data to your external MIDI keyboard.

If you have the MIDI Output set to Santa Cruz External MIDI and you're not
hearing anything from your MIDI keyboard, then that means that something
with your keyboard is not set up correctly. Please refer to your keyboard
owner's manual and make sure it is properly configured to receive midi
input on all 16 MIDI channels.

If the Midi Output works in Recording Station, then it should work in
MOP. Perhaps you made some change in MOP Patch Map settings that's causing
a problem. Rather than trying to figure out what that might be, try the
    following:

      * Go to Start - > Find - > File or Folders

      * Do a search for ORCHPLUS.INI (it should find it in the Windows folder)

      * Click on it once to highlight it then hit the 'Delete' key on your
        computer keyboard to delete it.

      * Then reopen MOP and setup JUST your Midi Output again from
Options>Midi Port Setup. Don't touch the patchmaps.
