Q:  Hi, I bought a Yamaha Keyboard about 4 years ago. I just tried to install
    the Discovering Keyboards software that came with it. Unfortunately I have
    the installation CD but not the registration card with the serial #.
 
    I had installed the software when I originally bought the keyboard but
    that was 2 computers ago!!
 
    After all this time I'm not going to find the registration card. Is there
    any way to install this software???


A:  You have discontinued OEM software that is ONLY distributed through 
    Yamaha and we do not have Product IDs for it. You can try contacting 
    Yamaha at 800-932-0001.

    However, please be advised that even if you had your Product ID, since you
    mentioned that this was 2 computers ago, chances are that you are using a
    new Operating System with your newer computer (like Win XP). Discovering
    Keyboards is a very old program that was designed for Win 3.1 and Win 95 
    and it will not work well, if at all in a new OS.
