MIDI Output problem - No MIDI Out 
If you are not hearing any MIDI sound, please do the following: 

  * In the application, click on Options > MIDI Setup 
  * For 'MIDI Output' you will probably see 'MIDI Mapper' 
  * Click on the words,' MIDI Mapper' and you will get a dropdown box with 
    other options. Make sure you are seeing all of your options by using 
    the up and down arrow keys on your computer keyboard 
  * Try selecting each option that appears until you are able to hear sound 


If you are still not able to hear sound please do the following: 

  * Click on Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment >Volume Control 
  * In the upper left click on Options/Properties 
  * Be sure you are set to Playback and check all boxes in the white section
    at the bottom 
  * Now click OK
  * Make sure all the volume sliders are turned up and nothing is muted
