To correct this problem, adjust the digital audio record and play buffers. 
Select Setup, and then Wave Options.  Adjust the buffers as needed to 
provide the best performance.  

Other adjustments that may increase performance: 
* Disable stereo playback. 
* Lower the resolution and record at a lower sampling rate. 

If you do not have a full-duplex sound, card make sure that simultaneous 
record and playback feature is NOT selected.  Only full-duplex sound cards 
have the ability to record and play back digital audio at the same time.
Contact the manufacturer of the sound card to see if the soundcard supports 
this function.
