Q: What is the difference between "MIDI Orchestrator Plus" and "Digital
Orchestrator Pro" ?
A: As the names imply:
"MIDI Orchestrator Plus" handles only MIDI (No Digital Audio / Wave)
"Digital Orchestrator Pro" handles both Digital Audio & MIDI

Q: Why should I go with Digital Orchestrator and not with other big names
on the market?
A: Other products in the same category have more features, bells & whistles,
and are more up-to-date with ASIO Drivers, VST Plug-ins, Long Filename
Support in Win XP etc.
However, people who have used both, claim that DoPro is the most user
friendly of all, that allows you to spend time on your "creation" rather
than learning how to do stuff.

Q: I already have MIDI Orchestrator Plus and I am thinking of upgrading
to DoPro. What are the advantages of being able to use Digital Audio
besides MIDI in a file?
A: Well, first you can have your MIDI Tracks consisting of Electronic
MIDI equipped Instruments like Keyboards etc. Then you can add your
Vocals, and any other acoustic Instrument like acoustic Guitar, Saxes,
even a digital recording of sounds, samples etc. For more info on this,

Q: Once I place the order, how long does it take to receive the downloadable
upgrade?
A: Once you place your order, you can download the upgrade immediately.
You will also receive a confirmation email with your own unique Product ID
and a link to download the software. So please make sure that you enter
your email correctly, without inserting any WWW. in front of it.

Q: Is the upgrade file a complete replacement, or a true upgrade to the
existing (non-Pro) version?
A: The upgrade is the full stand alone version of Digital Orchestrator Pro.
It can run with or without a previous version installed. However, we do
recommend that you remove the previous version to avoid any confusion.

Q: I currently also have the Digital Orchestrator Pro demo version
installed. Must I remove it before applying the upgrade?
A: Before installing the paid for version of Digital Orchestrator Pro,
we would suggest un-installing the demo version to avoid any confusion.

Q: Should I upgrade to the Download or the Box version?
A: It is your call really. However, please note that the On-Line Upgrades
offer only the Download upgrade options. If you are interested in
upgrading to the boxed version, please email sales@voyetra.com or call
1-800-233-9377 and have your Product ID ready.

Q: Are there any differences between the Download and the box upgrade?
A: The program is identical. The Download you can have right away whereas the
box needs to be shipped. On the other hand, the box version also contains:

- dop_nt.exe for Win 2000, Win XP
(This way you have a hard copy of the program)

Q: Do I also need to install the "3.02.05" patch or the "livemix" patch
with the new version?
A: You do not need and should *not* install any patch with the new version
of DoPro. In fact, you do not need any of the patches with even older
versions, so long as the program was bought after 1/1/2000.

Q: Is this "Digital Orchestrator Pro" compatible with the file format used
in "Digital Orchestrator" and the even older "Digital Orchestrator Plus"?
A: Absolutely. They all use the same .ORC file format, so any work you may
have done with previous versions does not get lost. In fact, believe it
or not, it even recognizes the .SNG format used in the DOS program:
"Sequencer Plus Gold" which was Voyetra's first Sequencing program from
the early 1990's.
