DMSK: Included Software:
The "Digital Music Starter Kit" as the name implies is a *starter* kit.
It comes with a Joystick type "MIDI Adapter Cable" (a $25 value) and entry
level MIDI / Audio sequencing software. Only 4 (four) Digital Audio Tracks
are available which should be plenty for most beginners.
If you outgrow the program and are interested in upgrading to a more
advanced MIDI / Audio editing software with unlimited audio tracks,
you can upgrade to "Record Producer Deluxe":

Included with the "Digital Music Starter Kit" besides the MIDI Cable
and the "Digital Orchestrator" software, is the Limited Edition of
Audiostation 6. You cannot use your Product ID for the "Digital Music
Starter Kit" for the Limited Edition of Audiostation 6. The same holds
true for Demo versions of other programs like the "Music Write" series etc
Unfortunately, the AudioStation 6 program has been discontinued and
it is no longer available for purchase.

DMSK: Version Confusion:
Q: I bought "Digital Music Starter Kit" and I downloaded a version from the
Internet. For some reason both versions installed. I do not know which one
I have on my system. The Product ID did not take for registration. I hope
the product is easier to use than it is to install. Any ideas about what
I should do next?
A: You probably downloaded the demo version of "Digital Orchestrator Pro".
In order to run "Digital Orchestrator" (not Pro) that comes in the
"Digital Music Starter Kit", click on Start > Programs > Voyetra Digital
Music Starter Kit > Digital Orchestrator > Digital Orchestrator.

DMSK: Samples, MIDI Drums & Bass Loops:
Q: On the box of the "Digital Music Starter Kit" it states that I can sample
files, "digital audio and MIDI samples (drum and bass loops) from our
Sound Gallery series." However, I have used the tutorials provided and
I am unable to find out where to sample files. I would appreciate all your
help in locating this product feature.
A: Once you insert the "Digital Music Starter Kit" CD on the screen
that comes up, there is an option to Explore the Sound Gallery Folder.
This is where the free samples reside.
Alternately, you can open them in Digital Orchestrator by clicking on:
File>Open and browsing to the following folders on the DMSK CD:
- SndGlry\AudioLib
- SndGlry\MIDI_Lib

DMSK: 'Understading MIDI & Synthesis'

MIDI' software is no where to be found, although it is boldly advertised
on the box!! How do I get this software??
A: Please click on:
Start>Programs>Voyetra Digital Music Starter Kit>Music
Tools>Understanding MIDI and Synthesis
