If you ever receive this error, please follow these steps:
1) Close the Digital Orchestrator application
2) Start > Find > Files or Folders
3) Find the file "Dop.ini". It should be in the Windows directory
4) Double click the file (DOP.INI)
5) Anywhere in the [OPTIONS] section add the line MMX=0
6) Save the changes. File > Save
7) Close the file.
Rebooting is not necessary. Run Digital Orchestrator and the error
should not reoccur.

If this does not help and you have an imported wave file as an audio track,
it is possible that cue point saved within the wave file is the cause of the
error:
1) Open the wave file you imported in an audio editor such as CoolEdit.
2) See if there are any Cue points in the file.
3) Go to the dialog in CoolEdit that let's you delete the cue points.
4) Delete all of them.
5) Save the wave file and re-import it into DOP.
After this, the problem should be solved.

If you have tried both of the above and still receive the error, then this
most likely has to do with video acceleration. Right-click on the My Computer
icon on the Windows desktop and select 'Properties'. Go to the Performance
tab, click on the 'Graphics' button, and lower the hardware acceleration to
'Basic accelerator functions' (one notch from the right). After doing this,
run Digital Orchestrator. If the error reoccurs, set the hardware
acceleration to 'None'. Also, make sure you are using the most recent
drivers for your video card.
