Audio Mixdown FAQ
Q: I want to burn some music to CDs with RP DLX. The Effects button will
bring down the window that has Digital Audio and it doesn't do anything.
I go to File and go to Create Audio Mixdown to try to change the file to
be able to burn a CD and nothing happened either. It says that this
funtion is available in Deluxe Edition only but it doesn't work with mine.

A: In order to do a mixdown (or use any audio effects), you must actually
have audio tracks recorded. Only audio tracks can be recorded.

For instructions on how to do a mixdown (recording midi as audio, etc.)
please see page 33 of the manual (pdf file.)

Q: I can't seem to save a file in wave format etc. out of Audio Editor
because the save as command is always grayed out, any suggestions?
How to save it in a wave format?

A: Only a Mix Down can be sent to the Advanced Audio Editor and then saved as
a .wav, etc. If there's just one or two tracks that you want to save
as a wave file, etc., then just mute out all the other audio tracks and
make a mixdown of just your desired tracks. Once they get sent to the
Advanced Audio Editor, you can then save it by clicking on File>Save As.
