Q: I am able to put the notes lower than a C on the treble clef. However,
when I hit play on my music, not only don't I get any sound, but the
cursor doesn't move across the notes at all. I checked the volume in my
PC and on the Options, note entry, I moved it all the way to 127, still
no sound, and the cursor doesn't move.
A: Make sure that the Step entry button (looks like a piano keyboard) is NOT
depressed. If the Step Entry key is not depressed, then somehow the new
Install did not go smoothly. Please do the following:
1. Un-install the Music Write program using the Add/Remove feature in the
Windows Control Panel.
2. Go to Start - > Find - > File or Folders and do a search for mwk.ini
on your C drive.
3. Click on it once to highlight it then hit the 'Delete' key on your
computer keyboard to delete it.
4. Reboot your computer, re-install the program and see if it plays.
