Displaying a sixteenth to dotted-eighth
Q: I have no problems displaying a dotted-eighth note before a sixteenth note
However, when I try to reverse the order, sixteenth to dotted-eighth,
instead of a dotted-eighth, the program defaults to a sixteenth tied to
an eighth note. I much prefer to see dotted eighths rather than a bunch
of tied notes. Is there a way to override this default?

A: Here's how it can be done in 4/4 time:

    1. Enter in the 16th note. You'll be left with a 16th, an 8th and
       a quarter rest.

    2. Draw in a dotted eighth note right on top of the 16th rest.
You should be left with a 16th note barred to a dotted eighth note.

Make sure you have Beat set to Quarter and Quantization set to
       Triplet/32nd in Display>Bar.
