Q: If I try to add a four letter lyric to the rebuilt file at the 11th
measure at beat 2, 240 on the third track, it messes up all my notes.
It doesn't happen if you add only a one letter, two letter, or three
letter word. It has to be at least 4 letters.
A: Since there is phycically no room to enter in a lyric, the text does get
pushed (as well as the rest of the music). All you need to do is to use
the Spacing tool and move that note to the left a little and then you can
enter in the lyric.

Lyrics - Second verse under First?
Q: I have put together a score on a song I have written. So far I have the
first verse and chorus with its lyrics and notation. I am about to work
on the second verse, but would like to be able to write the lyrics of the
second verse underneath the lyrics of the first verse.
Is there a way to go to the first page of the score where I have the first
verse, and then add the lyrics to the second verse, below the lyrics of
the first verse? Since the notes are the same for both verses, it's easier
to do that than to have to start the second verse on a blank staff line.
A: Select the Lyrics tool (L). Then you can select from Lyric 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Q: I have four lines in my music. One for the rhythm guitar, one for the
lead guitar, and then a tab line for each of them. I have no line for
the lyrics but I still want to include the lyrics in my score, just so
people will be able to follow along with them.
Unfortunately, every time I add lyrics, it always adjusts my song because
it thinks that I'm trying to add the lyrics to my guitar lines, so
everything gets all screwed up. Is there a way to just add lyrics to
the score without having them be attached to the music? I sure hope so.
A: The lyrics feature actually puts the lyrics underneath your desired track.
If you click on the L tool, you can add lyrics underneath the desired
track notes. If something is changing and you don't want it to, you could
use the Text tool (T tool) and move the text where you want so it won't
interfere with the notes. See the help file for further details.
However, there isn't any sort of stand alone text entry screen to enter
your lyrics.
