1. Click RIGHT mouse button anywhere on the empty desktop.
2. Click "New" then "Shortcut".
3. Type in the exact path to Sequencer Plus Gold (SPG). If you do not know
where it is located, choose "Browse" to find the correct path. Run SPG
from the "seq.bat" file.
4. Click "Next".
5. Type in a name for your shortcut (Sequencer Plus Gold).
6. Select an icon from the icon list.
7. Click "Finish".
8. A new icon will appear on your desktop. You may either leave it as a
desktop shortcut or drag it to an appropriate folder.
9. Click RIGHT mouse button while cursor is on the SPG icon and highlight
"Properties".
10. You are now at the "Properties Menu", click on "Program"
and set up categories as follows:
1st box (Name): Sequencer Plus Gold
2nd box (Command Line): Command.com
3rd box (Working Directory): Drive:\SPG-Path
4th box: seq.bat
11. Now click on "Advanced" and set up the screen as follows:
1st box (MS-DOS mode): checked
2nd box (Warn before entering MS-DOS mode): checked
3rd box (Use current MS-DOS configuration): empty
4th box (Specify a new MS-DOS configuration): checked
5th box (CONFIG.SYS for MS-DOS mode): (you will see your "config.sys"
file, do not modify it)
6th box (AUTOEXEC.BAT for MS-DOS mode): (you will see your
"autoexec.bat" file, do not modify it)
12. Now Click [OK].
13. Now you are back at the "Properties Menu" under the "Program" heading,
click [OK].
14. Windows has now made an Icon for Sequencer Plus.
