Error: "MMSYSTEM002A" - MIDI Input issue 
Q:  I just purchased a MIDI Cable and I have trouble making it work.
    When I use the SoundCheck, on the MIDI Input test it reads:  
                      
                    "MMSYSTEM002A device ID has been used 
                     that is out of range for your system"

    The Wave Output is green-OK but the Wave Input test is Red - Not ok.  
    Can you please help me so I can start using the MIDI cable with the 
    program. Thank you!


A:  You must have the correct MIDI drivers installed for your particular 
    soundcard. If the currently installed soundcard drivers are not the  
    proper ones or are not installed / setup properly, you will not get 
    MIDI input. To determine this, please consult your Sound Card's 
    documentation and sound card manufacturer.
