Disappearing Mouse 
If the mouse is disappearing, this is a video related issue.

*  Try downloading and installing the latest drivers for your video card.

*  You can also try turning down the graphics acceleration for your video 
   card. Click on Start>Settings>Control Panel>System. Click on Performance.
   Then click on 'Graphics'. Try putting the slider to the left (turning down
   the hardware acceleration.)
