Error: "MMSYSTEM281 could not be played" 
Q. When I try to install I get the following message:
            "MMSYSTEM281 could not be played. Check file name or 
             install a driver that supports this type of file" 
   then I get the error message: 
            "Could not open file D\tmg...avi"


A. The error message you are receiving is a Windows error message 
   complaining that it cannot open a standard Windows file.   

   CAUSE:
      This behavior can occur if one of the Media Control Interface (MCI) 
      Devices is disabled, not installed, or the line for the device is 
      missing in the Win.ini file. 

   RESOLUTION:
      Please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 
      Q141349 Error Message: MMSYSTEM281 This file Could Not Be Played
