56K
The 56K Digital Recording System is a unique combination of Digital Signal
Processing (DSP) hardware and easy-to-use graphic software which turns your
IBM(R) 286, 386, or 486-compatible computer and DAT machine into a digital
mastering workstation.

The system consists of three major components: the 56K-PC Digital Signal
Processor Card, a full-size 16-bit processor board, the 56K-D Digital
Interface Box, which allows your DAT machine to talk to the computer via
AES/EBU or SP/DIF-compatible digital formats, and the SoundStage editing
software.

This product was released in 1991.
