Windows 98: Error: "Don't Support Platform"
                               UPDATE:
Please note that Microsoft no longer supports Windows 98 or Windows ME
(Millennium). Some of the Microsoft links may no longer be accessible.
Although the package might list these Windows as Supported platforms,
Turtle Beach does not support them anymore.

Q: When I attempt to install the device drivers etc. via the install program
on the CD, I keep getting the error message "Don't Support Platform".
    This is Windows 98 SE (4.10.2222 A)

A: Please make sure that:
    - You have applied all the available Windows Upgrades for 98 Second
       Edition from Microsoft
    - If you have any antivirus programs running, please disable during the
       installation
    - VERY IMPORTANT: under: Control Panel > Device Manager > At the bottom,
you should show USB components. A Category called:
       Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
Under this, you should have two entries:
           1) Intel PCI to USB Universal Host Controller
           2) USB Root Hub
If you do not show this Category at all in the Device Manager, most
likely, the USB Controller is not enabled from the BIOS level. Please
consult with your Computer / Motherboard manual.

Customers who upgrade to Windows XP report:
Improved security, richer functionality, and increased productivity.
VTB cannot offer support for these old Windows platforms that even Microsoft
no longer supports.
