Basic Instructions for Enabling Audio Advantage in Mac OSX
[in Mac OSX 10.4.10 Tiger]
When you plug the AA USB Audio into your Mac, the blue light will go on and
OSX will automatically load the proper (basic) driver for "C-Media USB Audio".
However, you may not hear sound from your Audio Advantage until you go into
the Sounds control panel and manually select it as the system audio device.
- Open the Sounds control panel.
- Click on the Output tab. You should see the built-in audio and the
"C-Media USB Audio."
- Double-click on "C-Media USB Audio."
- If you wish to select the Audio Advantage for recording (Amigo only),
click on the Input tab and select the "C-Media USB Audio" there.
- Click OK to exit the Sounds control panel.
Now you should be able to use the Audio Advantage device on your Mac.
