Launch this program by clicking on the Turtle Beach icon in the Start Tray
on the bottom right of your PC Screen and selecting Control Panel from the
pop-up menu.
This program lets you access various settings to control how the AA Micro
plays sound on your PC.
USING THE CONTROL PANEL:
The Audio Advantage Control Panel is installed with the Driver installation.
Once installed, the control panel can be launched by clicking on the Turtle
Beach icon located in the Systray on the right side of the Windows Start
menu. Click on Start > Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro > Turtle Beach
Control Panel, or from the Windows Control panel by clicking on Start
> Control Panel > Turtle Beach icon.
SPEAKERS TAB:
Click on the Speakers Tab to activate the controls for adjusting volume
and audio playback modes.
PRESETS:
The Presets feature allows you to save and restore all of the control settings
for easy recall. Click the Preset button to activate the presets menu, which
includes the following options:
* Save:
Use this option to name and save the current settings into a new preset
under the Games, Business or Music category.
* Delete:
Use this option to delete a saved preset from the list.
* Restore Default Settings:
Use this option to restore all of the control panel settings to their
factory default value.
* Games/ Business/ Music:
These three categories let you easily restore presets by selecting
the category and clicking on a preset name in the menu display.
* Presets list:
The recently saved presets are displayed in this list and may be
retrieved by clicking the name.
OUTPUT CONFIGURATION SETTINGS:
The Output Configuration pull-down menu lets you select the type of output
from one of three modes. The Configuration Diagram on the left side will
illustrate the type of physical connection required in each mode:
* Headphones:
Select this configuration when connecting headphones to the audio
output jack.
* 2 Speaker:
Select this configuration when connecting powered stereo speakers to
the audio output jack.
* S/PDIF:
Select this configuration when using the optical digital output.
In this mode, insert the included S/PDIF adapter into the output jack
so that you may connect a TOSLINK optical cable.
* Test Button:
This will sequentially play a sound on each speaker to confirm the
left and right positions.
VOLUME CONTROLS:
The volume controls allow you to set the balance and master volume of the
audio output:
* Master Volume:
Use this control to adjust the overall output volume.
* Pan L/R:
Use this control to adjust the relative volume of the left and right
speakers.
* Mute:
Click this button to silence the output volume.
EQUALIZER TAB:
Click on the Equalizer tab to activate the controls for the 10 band
graphic equalizer, which allows you to modify the tone settings.
* Equalizer Boost/Cut Frequency Controls:
Use these controls to increase or decrease the gain in the specified
frequency band.
* Equalizer Presets:
Click on these buttons to automatically set the equalizer positions
in various preset modes. Click the Flat button to set the controls
for zero gain, or no equalization.
* User Defined:
Click this button to activate the User Defined presets, which allow you
to save an recall your own equalizer settings.
* Select User Defined Equalizer Settings:
This pull-down menu lists all of the user defined equalizer settings
saved under the Add button.
* Add:
Click this button to save the current equalizer settings under a name
that will appear in the Select User Defined Equalizer Settings pull-down
menu.
* Delete:
Click this button to delete a user defined equalizer setting.
