S/PDIF - Notes on use 
    Please note that the digital and analog output signal both come from the
    same connection. You can only use one or the other. Use the included
    optical digital adapter for digital output. 

    Dolby Digital audio data is sent through the Digital Out, so the Micro
    must be in 'digital send' mode. Analog output is stereo ONLY.
