Click on the Effects tab to activate the controls for Environments
and Virtual Surround Sound effects.
ENVIRONMENTS:
Environments add various type of reverberation to the sound to produce
an effect of spaciousness.
* Enable Environments:
Click this button to turn on the Environments effect, which adds
reverberation to the sound.
* Environment Type:
Click this pull-down menu to select from the many different
environments settings. Environment Size: Click these buttons to set
the depth of the selected environment, from large to small.
VIRTUAL SURROUND SOUND:
Virtual Surround Sound creates the effect of multiple speakers from a stereo
signal. The "virtual speakers" created from the stereo signal are illustrated
around the "virtual head" as front L/R, rear L/R, center and sub woofer.
The virtual speaker effect is most prominent when listening with headphones.
To enable the Virtual Surround Sound effects, click on any of the following
buttons:
* Rotate:
Click on these buttons to create a rotating speaker effect in clockwise
or counter clockwise motion. Speed Control: Use the speed control to set
the rotation speed.
* Manual:
Click this button to manually place the speakers by clicking an dragging
on the speaker icon.
* Random:
Click this button to create a randomly moving speaker effect.
* Reset: Click this button to reset the virtual speakers to their factory
default positions.
Speaker Volume Settings:
As the virtual speaker positions are moved, the corresponding speaker
volume controls will also move to indicate the speaker position. When
the Manual button is on, each speaker position can be changed by moving
the corresponding slider or by clicking and dragging the speaker icon.
The Master volume setting allows volume adjustment of all virtual speakers
simultaneously.
