Connections - Hardware PCI

PCI Card Internal Connectors: 
  * 1394 Connector: 
      Connects the front panel 1394 port to the PCI card's internal 1394 port
      using the included 6-pin 1394 cable.

  * AV Cable: 
      Connects the drive bay audio and video signals to the PCI card 
      using the included multi-pin ribbon cable.

PCI Card Bracket Connectors:
  * Mic & Line out: 
      Connect the jacks to your sound card's mic and line inputs using the two
      mini-jack stereo cables to connect the signals from the front panel mic
      and line jacks 

  * Composite Video Input:
      Accepts a composite video signal from your analog VCR or camcorder. 
      If your VCR or camcorder has both composite and S-Video outputs, 
      use the S-Video output for better picture quality.

  * S-Video Input:
      Connects an S-Video signal from your analog VCR or camcorder

  * 4-pin and 6-pin 1394 connectors:
      These two 1394 connectors may be used to connect your digital camcorder,
      digital VCR or other 1394-based peripherals.

Drive Bay Connectors:
  * Mic In:
      Use this jack to connect a microphone from the drive bay mic jack to
      your sound card's mic input.

  * Line In:
      Use these jacks to connect the left and right audio outputs on your
      analog VCR or camcorder to your sound card line inputs. 

  * Composite Video Input:
      Connects a composite video input to the Video Advantage PCI card. Note 
      that this connector should not be used simultaneously with the rear 
      panel composite video signal.

  * S-Video Input:
      Connects an S-Video input to the Video Advantage PCI card. Note that 
      this connector should not be used simultaneously with the rear panel 
      S-Video signal.

  * 4-pin 1394 connector:
      Used for connecting your digital camcorder or digital VCR.

  * USB connector:
      A pass-through USB port connected to an existing USB port on your PC 
      for front-panel convenience.
