Connecting Your Sound Card - PCI only
Please skip this if you do not have the VDA_PCI with drive bay panel. In this
case (as with the ADX version) you need to connect the RCA Audio Cables from
the external source DIRECTLY onto your Sound Card's Line In & Mic In.

The location of the Mic and Line jacks on your PC or sound card may vary
from the illustration above. Check your PC or sound card for details.

                                 ***

VDA_PCI uses your PC's Sound Card or motherboard audio line input to capture
the sound portion of an analog video. The VDA_PCI provides a drive panel to
connect the audio output from your VCR or analog camcorder to the sound card
L/R inputs on your PC or sound card as follows:

  1. Connect the top green jack on the VDA rear panel bracket to the Line
Input on your sound card using one of the 1/8 to 1/8 connector cables
     included in your VDA package.

  2. Connect the second pink jack on the VDA rear panel bracket to the Mic
Input on your sound card using one of the 1/8 to 1/8 connector cables
     included in your VDA package.
