Double-check your Cable Connections on both ends. Often times, users claim 
that a unit is defective, until they find out that the cables were reversed.

Q:  The Video Advantage software gave me trouble when I tried to install the
    Cyberlink Power Director 3. I tried to find the program on the CD but I 
    could not. Maybe this program is not on the CD.


A:  Power Director is on the CD that came with your Product. From the Main
    Menu on the CD, please click on "Setup Video Advantage" The next Menu 
    will display as a second option: "Install Power Director 3.0 DE"
