Capture & Burn to DVD:
Q: I just purchased your product and I would like to capture and burn to DVD,
movies that I have saved on my DVR. I also want to capture old VHS tapes
of my daughter's dance recitals. All I want to do is capture to MPEG 2,
author and burn to a DVD. Which program should I use and what steps will
I need? Can I create a DVD folder (VIDEO_TS, Audio_TS) to author to
TMPGEnc DVD Author software and burn with Nero 6.
A: You can use either program to capture. You will use Cyberlink
PowerDirector to Author and Burn to DVD. Please open PowerDirector and
click on HELP > PowerDirector Help. This will explain in detail all the
steps needed.

Capture - Audio Quality:
Q: I captured my daughter's dance recital and put it through the different
steps in Power Director. I can play the file, which has a .mpg extension
with Media Player. The problem that has occurred now is that when I burn
it in Power Producer Express, there is no sound.
I went back and tried the file in Media Player, and the sound is perfect.
Could there be a conflict with my H-P 300i DVD burner or the Nero 6
program that I have installed on my computer? The video appears to be fine
A: Please make sure the Audio Quality is set to LPCM in the Select Your Disc
section of PowerProducer Express before you burn a DVD.
