Hard Drive Size considerations
Q: I have had the Video Advantage for about a week, long enough to find out
that one VHS tape won't all fit on a 120GB drive, purchased at the same
time. Before returning it and buying a 250GB drive, I would like to know:

Is it possible to stream video into my computer through the VideoAdvantage
converter and record (un-edited) directly to a DVD writer, without storing
on hard drive? If not, should a 250GB drive hold a 2 hour video?

A: You can write directly to disc using the Power Director/Power Producer
software that is included with the Video Advantage. You can have a a look
at the help file for the Power Director for full details on how to
    accomplish this.

As far as your hard drive goes, how much information you can store would
depend on the quality that you are choosing to use for a given project.
There are a number of compression schemes offered in the Ad FullCap and
the Power Director software packages. Using one of these compression
schemes will allow you to store more information on your hard drives as
the resulting video file will not be as large as an uncompressed version.
