Cancun Effects Editing
While the Cancun sounds great right out of the box, the SysEx controllable
effects give you better control over your sounds.

Using Mop, Dop Plus, DO, Dop Pro, you can customize the settings for the
Cancun's onboard effects processors using System Exclusive ("SysEx") messages.

The EQ effects on the Cancun are GLOBAL and not channelized meaning that
you cannot assign them to individual tracks.
Reverb & Chorus on the other hand CAN be assigned per track.

In DOP/MOP, the default effects controls are set to:
   - controller 91 for reverb
   - controller 93 for chorus.

At these default settings, DOP/MOP can control the amount of Reverb and Chorus
in a track, but not the quality of the chosen effect.
Changing the numerical setting in a particular MIDI track's Reverb column in
DOP/MOP will only change the amount of reverb for that track. You will need
to make use of SysEx messages if you want to change the quality of the Reverb.
Here's how to change the Reverb Presets:

1. In DOP/MOP, go to Options | Controllers. The Controllers dialogue box
   should now be visible, as shown in the screenshot below.

2. In the Controllers dialogue, set Controller A to Effect 1 Depth (Reverb).
   This is actually Controller 91 (as explained above).

3. Set Controller B to General Purpose #5 (Controller 80), which will now
   control the Reverb Presets.

4. Now you can go to the Track/View window in DOP/MOP and choose one of the
   eight Reverb Presets by changing the appropriate number in the GP #5
   column, from 1 to 8. A setting of 1 is for a hall reverb, while a setting
   of 8 will give you a stereo "ping-pong" echo. Settings of 9 or higher are
   the same as setting 8.

          Reverb Presets:                    Chorus Presets:
            1 = Room 1                        1 = Chorus 1
            2 = Room 2                        2 = Chorus 2
            3 = Room 3                        3 = Chorus 3
            4 = Hall 1                        4 = Chorus 4
            5 = Hall 2                        5 = Feedback
            6 = Plate                         6 = Flanger
            7 = Delay                         7 = Short Delay
            8 = Pan Delay                     8 = Feedback Delay

Please note that you can only use one effect at a time when using the SysEx
effects in this way, since you are using both Controllers A and B for the one
effect.
