Why PCI accelerated audio? 
Most audio cards use the ISA bus 8 MHz DMA channel, which slows down the CPU 
while a sound is playing.  Many ISA sound cards are also unable to 
efficiently handle DirectSound - Microsoft's latest audio technology 
breakthrough for Windows.  Daytona processes DirectSound on the PCI bus, 
moving audio data at more than 100 MHz.  Multimedia performance is 
accelerated because the host CPU and memory are free to process graphics, 
video and other data while Daytona simultaneously handles digital audio and 
MIDI.
