S/PDIF Out and Analog Outputs at the same time?
Q: Can I have both SPDIF out and analog outputs connected at the same time
and have the card switch output automatically depending on format?
Basically I want to run everything analog except for when I have AC3 or
DTS material, in which case I want it to pass it through to my receiver
    to decode.

A: The Roadie itself won't be able to 'auto-sense' the format of the outgoing
audio. Howeveer, if you leave it set to analog out in its Speaker
Configuration in the Control Panel, and you play a DVD movie in your
software movie player, setting the output in the DVD movie player to
S/PDIF Out (or "Datastream" or "Digital Out") should automatically
activate and use the Roadie's S/PDIF Out. You shouldn't need to go to
the Roadie Control Panel and manually activate the S/PDIF Out.

That said, we can't guarantee that this will be the case in your
particular system running your particular mix of software applications.
