Q: On installation and reboot I get blue screen of death. I had to uninstall
under safe mode, still got blue screen of death, so had to reboot to get
former restore point in XP. Any ideas?
A: Are you connecting the Roadie directly to a USB Port on your computer,
or to a USB hub which is then connected to your computer? Also, please
be sure you have Service Pack 2 installed for Windows XP.
For troubleshooting purposes, please connect the Roadie directly to a USB
port on your computer. If it works like that but not with your hub, then
you know that there is some sort of compatibility problem between the
Roadie and the hub.
This may be solved by trying different ports on the Hub, or by connecting
USB devices to the hub in different combinations of ports on the hub.
There are plenty of interactions between devices connected on a hub,
and the Roadie is a USB Composite Device, meaning that it is several
USB devices in one.
