SYMPTOMS:
Poor sound quality, pops, static, other artifacts, erratic behavior or even
crashes.
SOLUTION:
Please make sure that:
1. The TB Sound Card is set as the system default sound card.
2. You have the latest drivers for your Sound Card.
3. The latest version of DirectX available from Microsoft (current 9.0c).
4. The latest version of the game installed. Game manufacturers issue
patches from time to time on their Web Sites to address various issues.
5. Try to determine if it only occurs in DDL mode (when applicable)
6. If the Game uses EAX 3.0 or 4.0 not supported by Turtle Beach.
You may need to remove the option for EAX from within the game.
7. Restore defaults, at least just as a test, to see if it is specific
settings within the game that cause the problem.
8. Please note that in some systems with some games, you might need to
experiment with lowering the hardware acceleration in the Windows sound
control panel. Microsoft has included these controls in the Windows OS,
to compensate for discrepancies you might experience with your system
and/or with certain games.
