S/PDIF - Connection and 'handshake locking' w. 3rd-Party Digital Devices 
Please consider that nowadays there are so many different manufacturers and 
models of S/PDIF devices on the market, that unfortunately it is impossible 
to test all of them and offer compatibility with these 3rd-party products. 

Simply consider the various categories of products offering digital transfer:
  - Consumer level products (such as this TB product, MiniDisks etc.)
  - Pro Audio / Hi-Fi level products
  - Music Industry products (such as DAT & ADAT machines)
  - Recording Industry products

While our products that offer the digital connection feature have been tested
on a variety of 3rd-Party products, we cannot guarantee compatibility with
all of them.
