1) Open the PC mixer (Start | Programs | TBS Pro Audio | Audio Mixer).
2) Make sure "Mic Input" is selected.
3) Click on Advanced under "Mic Input".
4) Raise the Max Mic Gain (the maximum level is 31.5 dB). 
5) If raising the level to the max does not help, connecting a mixer or 
   pre-amp to the Line In (NOT Mic In) will solve the problem.

Note: As always, caution should be exercised with Audio equipment not to
  overload the various inputs on the card to avoid possible input "frying".
