If you experience problems with the Malibu WaveStream Software Synthesizer and
you need to remove it, please follow these steps: 

1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 
2. Double-click "Add/Remove Programs". 
3. Find "WaveStream for Windows 95" (NOT "Turtle Beach Malibu"). 
4. Highlight "WaveStream for Windows 95". 
5. Click on the "Add/Remove" tab.
6. Answer "Yes" when prompted.

It is also possible to temporarily disable the Malibu WaveStream Software 
Synthesizer and re-enable it later: 

1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 
2. Double-click "System". 
3. Click the "Device Manager" tab. 
4. Highlight "TBS Malibu Audio Codec (WSS/SB/FM)". 
5. Click "Properties". 
6. Click the "WaveStream" tab. 
7. Uncheck the "Synthesizer Enabled" box. 
8. Click [OK].

To re-enable the WaveStream later: 
1. Check the "Synthesizer Enabled" box. 
2. Let Windows reconfigure it.
