Recording vocals (Wave) while monitoring MIDI, MIDI gets recorded too

If WaveStream is installed/enabled, the combined MIDI/Wave output will 
get recorded. 

To record WAV data without recording the backing track, remove the 
WaveStream software synthesizer from the Malibu setup.
