On rare occasions, in certain System configurations, this error may occur 
during the Applications Installation.
It appears at about 70% (or some other percentage) into the Install Shield. 
The number at the end might be different: -623, -603 or another. 

1) Close all running background Applications (especially VTray). 

2) Empty the \Windows\Temp\ folder (files left here by previous unsuccessful
   installations can cause the error).

3) Change the Video Display Adapter settings to: 
   256 Colors 
   800 X 600 Resolution
   Small fonts
  
   NOTE: If you are prompted to reboot the system, please make sure you
         disable again the Vtray, since Windows will re-enable it upon
         rebooting. 

4) Make sure you are using a wallpaper that comes with Windows and not one
   of unknown quality that was downloaded from the Web.
